Hezbollah Drone Strike Targeted Israeli Northern Command Chief in Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, recent intelligence revealed by Israel’s Channel KAN indicates that Hezbollah recently attempted to assassinate the commander of the occupying army’s Northern Command. An explosive drone launched by Hezbollah targeted the vehicle of the enemy’s Northern Command chief during a field visit in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli broadcaster acknowledged that the incident could have resulted in a significant and painful strategic blow to Israel. Channel KAN 11 reported that an FPV drone targeted a field patrol that included the Northern Command chief and officers from his office in southern Lebanon.
The report further detailed that the commander, identified as ‘Milo’, had disembarked from his vehicle with a female officer shortly before the drone directly struck, preventing injuries among those present during the visit. Israel’s Channel 14 reported that the targeting of the Northern Command leader’s convoy with a Hezbollah drone in southern Lebanon occurred approximately one month ago.
Israeli assessments suggest that while the incident concluded without casualties, the injury of the Northern Command chief could have inflicted strategic and moral damage on Israel. These assessments emphasize that targeting a military official of such a high rank represents an achievement Hezbollah has sought for years.
