According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Al Jazeera network reported that U.S. President Donald Trump is pushing for a deal with Iran to be signed today, Sunday, coinciding with his 80th birthday. Analysts interpret this move as part of Trump’s broader strategy of seeking and personalizing policy achievements.
In contrast, Tehran does not intend to grant Trump such a symbolic victory. Ismail Bakhayi, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the timing for signing any agreement has not yet been determined. Trump, however, appears determined to claim credit for the signing of a deal.
