Lebanon Files Complaint with UN Security Council Against Israel Over Military Attacks and Chemical Spraying

Lebanon’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced it has submitted a complaint to the United Nations Security Council against the Israeli regime following the targeting of a Lebanese army military vehicle and the deaths of several soldiers. The ministry also reported a separate complaint concerning the spraying of glyphosate toxins over southern Lebanese border villages.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanon‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has lodged a complaint with the United Nations Security Council against the Israeli regime. This action comes in the wake of an attack that targeted a Lebanese army military vehicle, resulting in the martyrdom of several soldiers. The ministry also reported filing another complaint against Israel for allegedly spraying ‘glyphosate’ toxins over villages in southern Lebanon’s border regions.

The Israeli regime has conducted extensive assaults on dozens of villages in southern Lebanon in recent weeks. News sources have reported new Israeli attacks on several areas in southern Lebanon within the past few hours. Israel also launched a fresh attack on the southern suburb of Beirut an hour prior, which led to the death of one person and injured four others.

Al Jazeera reported that an Israeli drone targeted the heights of Al-Rayhan in the city of Jezzine. Additionally, Israeli fighter jets attacked the town of Majdal Selm in Marjayoun and the vicinity of the town of Al-Sharqiya in Nabatieh. Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelled the area around the town of Majdal Zon in southern Lebanon.

On the other hand, Hebrew-language sources reported the activation of air raid sirens in several areas of western Galilee after a drone was detected approaching from Lebanon. Israeli Channel 12 reported that a drone crashed and exploded near a military base in western Galilee, with the outlet claiming the incident caused no casualties. The network added that since this morning, three drones have been launched from Lebanon towards occupied territories.
