Trump Announces Official Release of Iran Deal Text, Vows Strait of Hormuz Access

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump announced during a meeting with the President of the UAE that the text of the memorandum of understanding between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran will be officially released in a formal session. Trump further stated, without detailing Washington’s commitments within the understanding, that the Strait of Hormuz will be fully open by Friday. He also claimed that the Strait of Hormuz will remain open to ships without charges even after the 60-day period.
The U.S. President also expressed his expectation for a second phase of understanding with Iran to occur rapidly. He indicated a desire to hold a press conference regarding the agreement with Iran. Trump claimed that this agreement is solely focused on preventing Iran from ever acquiring nuclear weapons. This assertion comes despite Iran’s nuclear program being entirely peaceful, with relevant bodies having provided no evidence of any deviation from its peaceful nature.
The U.S. President announced that the text of the memorandum of understanding with Iran will be sent to Congress for review.
