Hezbollah Denounces Israeli Violations, Cites Ceasefire Disregard

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a statement released by the operations room of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has addressed recent developments, citing data published by Mehr News Agency, quoting Al-Mayadeen’s war media.
The Hezbollah statement asserted that the Israeli regime’s claims of Hezbollah violating the ceasefire are an attempt to distort the facts on the ground. The statement emphasized that the Israeli regime has consistently failed to adhere to any agreements since the ceasefire was established on November 27, 2024. It further noted that even after the recent understanding between Iran and the United States, which underscored an end to hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon, Israel has continued its aggressions.
The Lebanese Islamic Resistance detailed that the Israeli regime has repeatedly breached the ceasefire through acts of mass killings, destruction of residential buildings and civilian infrastructure, persistent ground attacks, and attempts to infiltrate new areas in southern Lebanon.
The statement also highlighted recent remarks by Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, who stated that there is no ceasefire in Lebanon. Hezbollah interprets these comments as a clear indication of Israel’s disregard for agreements. The resistance group suggested that Israel resorts to killing civilians and targeting peaceful villages to conceal its inability to confront resistance fighters and to hide battlefield casualties and failures. This pattern, the statement noted, followed the engagement after resistance fighters countered an Israeli military attempt to advance towards the Al-Tahir hilltop.
In conclusion, the Lebanese Islamic Resistance declared its readiness to counter any aggression and affirmed that its fighters will courageously defend their land and people.
