Israeli War Minister Vows Continued Presence in Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israel‘s War Minister, Yoav Gallant, has stated that the Israeli army will not relinquish its controlled positions in southern Lebanon. Data published by the Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, reports Gallant’s assertion that Israeli forces will remain in all their positions within the “security zone” in Lebanon.
In a report by the Israeli newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth,” Gallant stressed on Sunday that Israeli troops will remain in all their positions within this designated area. He further claimed that a ceasefire would signify the Israeli army’s continued presence in all positions across this region of Lebanon. Gallant added, “There will be no restrictions on Israeli soldiers regarding movement to neutralize threats.”
