US Treasury Issues Waiver for Iranian Oil Exports Amid Sanctions

The U.S. Treasury Department has granted a waiver authorizing the production, delivery, and sale of Iranian crude oil, petrochemicals, and petroleum products through August 21, 2026, a move detailed by the Mehr News Agency.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has issued a license permitting the production, delivery, and sale of crude oil, petrochemical products, and petroleum derivatives originating from Iran until August 21, 2026.
