Egypt Demands Full Israeli Withdrawal from Syria

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with his Syrian counterpart, Faisal Mekdad, on the sidelines of an Arab League meeting in Jordan, condemning Israeli transgressions and demanding a complete withdrawal from Syrian territory.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad in Jordan during an Arab League-affiliated summit. During the meeting, Shoukry condemned what he described as repeated Israeli aggressions against Syria. He emphasized the necessity of a complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Syrian soil and strict adherence to the 1974 ceasefire agreement.
Furthermore, the Egyptian Foreign Minister reiterated Cairo’s steadfast position advocating for respect for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also expressed opposition to any foreign interference in the internal affairs of Syria.
