Russian Official: Iran-U.S. Talks Outcome Not Surprising for Moscow

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has stated that the outcomes of the recent negotiations between Iran and the United States were not surprising for Moscow. Speaking on the sidelines of the Primakov Scientific-International Meeting, Ryabkov noted that Russia maintains direct and continuous communication channels with Tehran, discussing all bilateral and regional issues with the Iranian side.
Ryabkov emphasized that the results achieved from the recent agreements between Iran and the U.S. did not come as a surprise to Russia. “We are in constant contact with the Iranian side, and it is no exaggeration to say that what has been achieved was not unexpected for us,” he remarked.
He further highlighted that Russia’s proposals for achieving an effective and comprehensive solution to issues concerning Iran remain on the table. Moscow is closely monitoring developments related to these matters through extensive political and diplomatic coordination.
