Israeli Minister Vows to Maintain South Lebanon Presence Despite Trump’s Potential Demands

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency,
Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen announced that the issue of withdrawing from the security zone in southern Lebanon is not on the regime’s agenda. Speaking to Channel 14 of Israeli television, Cohen stated that Tel Aviv would reject any request for Israeli forces to leave the area, even if it came from U.S. President Donald Trump, and would not back down from its position.
The Israeli official further elaborated, stating, “We have no intention of fully occupying Lebanon, but we are seeking to impose security control over the entire Gaza Strip.” He claimed that Israel would ultimately gain complete control over the entire Gaza Strip, asserting this as a component of the regime’s security objectives.
