According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Sultanate of Oman has informed European officials that the Strait of Hormuz will not return to its pre-war conditions. This development was reported by the Mehr News Agency, citing Bloomberg.
Omani officials, in their communications with their European counterparts, emphasized that ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz might be required to pay tolls. The report from the American news agency indicated that Oman has justified the potential collection of these fees by referencing services provided to maritime traffic, including navigational support and pollution control measures.
