The discussion occurred amidst escalating tensions orchestrated by the United States in the region.

A statement released by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that the British Foreign Secretary once again expressed her appreciation for Pakistan’s continuous efforts aimed at fostering peace and stability in the region. This included acknowledgment of Islamabad’s role in facilitating the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States.

The ministry further reported that Mohammad Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting dialogue, diplomacy, and constructive engagement among all parties involved.
