Russia Claims Destruction of 590 Ukrainian Drones in Recent Hours

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed dozens of Ukrainian drones overnight. These unmanned aerial vehicles were targeted over multiple Russian regions, including Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, and Kursk.

The ministry also reported the liberation of the cities of Basantsi in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Novoselivka in the Zaporizhzhia region by Russian forces. In addition to the drone interceptions, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that two Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft were destroyed within the last 24 hours. Significant damage was also inflicted upon facilities belonging to Ukraine‘s energy and fuel complex.
