Pakistan Launches Airstrikes on Afghan Soil in Retaliation for Karachi Attack

Pakistan has conducted airstrikes targeting areas within Afghanistan, according to Pakistani officials, in a retaliatory move following a deadly attack on a Rangers checkpoint in Karachi. The strikes reportedly resulted in significant casualties.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistani sources have reported that the country launched airstrikes on several areas of Afghan territory earlier today. These military actions are stated to be a direct response to an attack that occurred yesterday on a Rangers outpost in the city of Karachi.

Pakistani officials indicated that three specific targets within Afghanistan were hit, located in the provinces of Kunar, Paktia, and Paktika. Preliminary reports from these sources suggest that the aerial bombardment caused substantial loss of life and injuries.

The casualty figures provided by these sources estimate that more than 30 individuals were killed and over 100 others sustained injuries as a result of the airstrikes.
