Erdogan Vows Accountability for Gaza Genocide as Turkey Criticizes NATO Sanctions

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared that genocide continues in Gaza and its perpetrators will be held accountable, while Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş criticized sanctions by some NATO members against Turkey’s defense industry.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that genocide has occurred and continues in Gaza, asserting that those responsible will be held accountable. Speaking to members of the Justice and Development Party in Sakarya province, Erdogan emphasized that such actions cannot be ignored.

In parallel, Numan Kurtulmuş, the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, remarked that an end to the Israeli regime’s aggressions would not only bring tranquility to Palestinians but also ensure global peace. Addressing the NATO Parliamentary Assembly session in Istanbul, Kurtulmuş characterized the sanctions imposed by certain NATO member states on Turkey’s defense industry as unilateral, meaningless, and contrary to the spirit of the alliance.
