Venezuela Earthquake Death Toll Climbs to 2,295

The death toll from a powerful magnitude 7.5 earthquake that struck Venezuela has risen to 2,295, with ongoing rescue operations continuing to search for survivors.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Venezuelan Parliament Speaker Jorge Rodríguez announced that the number of casualties from the magnitude 7.5 earthquake in the country has reached 2,295.
Rodríguez stated that 782 aftershocks have been recorded in Venezuela since June 24. He also reported that 4,000 international rescue forces and 26,000 Venezuelan national security personnel are continuing their efforts in rescue operations across the country.
The powerful earthquakes, measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, struck Venezuela on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 24. Thousands of people have been injured following the seismic events.
