Islamic Jihad Leader Honors Late Iranian Leader, Affirms Steadfast Support for Palestine
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ziad Al-Nakhalah, Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, stated that they participated in a farewell ceremony of loyalty to the martyred leader. Al-Nakhalah added that the martyred leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, loved Palestine, and the Palestinians responded with love and loyalty. He emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s support for Palestine is a consistent approach established by Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei.
Earlier, Mohammed Al-Haj Musa, spokesperson for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, commented that the blood of leader Khamenei mingled with the blood of the Palestinian resistance fighters in a unified battle. He described this great martyrdom as connecting the blood of the leaders of the resistance axis with the blood of the Palestinian resistance fighters, reflecting the unity of the battle and destiny in confronting the common enemy. The spokesperson stressed that the late leader was a fundamental pillar in supporting the Palestinian people. He noted that all military, logistical, and political support provided to resistance forces over the decades was based on his direct decision and unshakeable commitment to the liberation struggle, characterizing him as a wise leader and staunch defender of the Islamic Ummah’s sovereignty against hegemonic projects.
He further stated that sustained attention and support for the Palestinian cause is the fundamental pillar and the only way to unite the ranks of the Islamic and Arab Ummah, especially given the significant importance of the Palestinian issue. The spokesperson added that Iran defended its sovereignty, honor, and the ideals of the Islamic Ummah, managing to shatter the might of America at the peak of its global dominance. He asserted that their statements are not mere rhetoric but rather an expression of their beliefs, and they form a single front within the resistance axis. He concluded by affirming that resistance in Lebanon and Palestine is growing stronger daily, the struggle continues, and their commitment to their right over their land and sacred sites remains unshakable. The spokesperson for Islamic Jihad Palestine concluded that this precious blood, despite the pain it leaves in their hearts, provides them with greater resolve and determination to deliver painful blows.
