Sweden’s Ambassador Summoned to Russian Foreign Ministry Over Drone Attack
Russia’s Foreign Ministry summoned the Swedish ambassador to Moscow on Monday to lodge a strong protest regarding a recent drone attack on the Russian embassy in Stockholm. Moscow criticized Stockholm’s passive stance and demanded action to prevent future incidents.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Monday that Sweden’s ambassador in Moscow was summoned to the ministry. The ministry conveyed Moscow’s strong objection to the ambassador concerning the recent drone attack targeting the Russian embassy in Stockholm.
The Russian Foreign Ministry criticized Stockholm’s inaction in confronting drone attacks on Russian diplomatic missions and urged Sweden to take necessary measures to halt such occurrences.
In this regard, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, announced that Moscow summoned Anna Kärstin Trägårdh Johansson, the Swedish ambassador to Moscow.
