US Defense Secretary Arrives in Occupied Territories Amid Regional Tensions

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has arrived in the occupied territories for his first visit since assuming office, amidst escalating regional military actions and Israeli security concerns.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin arrived in the occupied territories today for his inaugural visit since taking office. The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Austin is scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

The Israeli source claimed that one of the objectives of this visit is to address the Zionist regime’s concerns regarding the sale of F-35 aircraft to Turkey. This visit occurs as the United States conducted strikes against several positions in southern Iran today. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) subsequently issued a statement announcing that its naval and aerospace forces, through a joint missile and drone operation, struck 85 key American military facilities in Salman Port, the Fifth Naval District of Bahrain, and Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait. The IRGC also reported the downing of an enemy MQ-9 drone that attempted to interfere with the operation.
