Massive Media Coverage for Iran’s Martyr Leader’s Funeral Procession in Iraq

Approximately 4,300 Iraqi and foreign journalists participated in the media coverage of the funeral procession for Iran’s martyred leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in Iraq, according to a statement from the High Committee for Organizing the Funeral.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, approximately 4,300 Iraqi and foreign journalists participated in the media coverage of the funeral procession for Iran‘s martyred leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in Iraq. Saad Maan, spokesperson for the High Committee for Organizing the Funeral, announced on Wednesday that the live broadcast of the procession began at 5 AM and continued, with all Iraqi television networks providing live coverage and some broadcasting continuously since the event’s inception.

Maan emphasized the extensive international reflection of the event, noting the presence of nearly one thousand officially accredited foreign journalists. Additionally, around 3,300 Iraqi journalists from the provinces of Najaf Ashraf and Karbala Mu’alla, representing television networks, news agencies, radio stations, newspapers, and digital media outlets, covered the event.

Furthermore, approximately 20 outside broadcast vans (SNG vehicles) were deployed in Najaf Ashraf to facilitate the coverage. Many of these vehicles not only provided services to various media outlets but also offered free transmission of raw footage.
