China’s Commitment to North Korea Remains Unwavering, President Xi Jinping Affirms

Chinese President Xi Jinping has reiterated his nation’s steadfast commitment to North Korea, stating that Beijing’s pledge to its friendly neighbor will not alter regardless of international circumstances. This assurance follows recent high-level discussions aimed at deepening bilateral ties.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Chinese President Xi Jinping declared that his country’s commitment to North Korea, as a friendly nation, will remain unchanged irrespective of evolving international conditions. This statement underscores the enduring nature of the Sino-North Korean relationship.

President Xi previously emphasized this continuity during his first visit to North Korea in approximately seven years on June 8, 2026. In a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Xi affirmed that the long-standing friendship between China and North Korea would not be altered.

During their discussions, the leaders of both nations pledged to deepen the political trust between Beijing and Pyongyang, expand mutual cooperation, and strengthen coordination on regional security and development. These commitments signal a continued effort to bolster their strategic partnership and address shared interests in the region.
