Ansarullah Warns Riyadh of Consequences Over Continued Yemen Siege

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a member of the political bureau of the Ansarullah movement in Yemen has cautioned Saudi Arabia, asserting that the continuation of the blockade on Yemen and the evasion of peace process obligations will put Riyadh’s interests at risk. The report was sourced from Al-Masirah, as published by the Mehr News Agency.
Mohammed Al-Farah, a member of Ansarullah’s political bureau, emphasized in a post on the social media platform X that Saudi Arabia’s interests are under threat. He added that continuous statements from groups affiliated with Riyadh will not alter this reality, as these factions are entirely dependent on Saudi Arabia and merely echo media narratives, with no independent authority over decisions of war or peace.
Al-Farah pointed to Saudi Arabia’s role in violating Yemen’s sovereignty, attributing the primary breaches to Saudi airstrikes, rather than the return of patients and wounded individuals after years abroad. He further highlighted Riyadh’s direct involvement in Yemen’s developments since the war’s inception, encompassing military actions and financial support for allied forces.
The Ansarullah official accused Saudi Arabia of seeking to divide and weaken Yemen, stating that Riyadh’s maintenance of the current situation obstructs the path to a political solution. He also addressed Ansarullah’s support for the Gaza Strip, stressing that solidarity with the Palestinian people should not serve as a pretext for imposing economic pressure on the Yemeni population.
Al-Farah concluded by affirming that Yemen’s support for Gaza is one of the nation’s most significant historical decisions. He stated that Saudi Arabia will be unable to prevent this course of action, even with its support for aligned groups.
