Turkish Defense Minister Meets Pakistan Army Chief in Ankara

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler met and conferred with General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, in Ankara on Tuesday. The meeting was reported by the Anadolu Agency, citing Mehr News Agency.

The Turkish National Defense Ministry announced on its social media channels that Minister Güler welcomed General Munir, who is the Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Army and Commander of the Ground Forces. General Munir is visiting Ankara at the official invitation of General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces. General Bayraktaroğlu was also present during the meeting.
