US Launches New Airstrikes Against Iran, Centcom Announces
The United States Central Command (Centcom) has announced the commencement of a new wave of American airstrikes targeting Iran, citing the goal of degrading Tehran’s ability to attack vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Centcom, the United States Central Command, has declared the initiation of a fresh series of airstrikes against Iran. The announcement was made via a statement from the command.
Centcom asserted that these strikes are intended to further weaken Iran’s capacity to conduct attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The statement also indicated that these operations are proceeding concurrently with American forces preparing to resume a maritime blockade of Iranian ports and coastlines.
The command further announced the commencement of a naval blockade of Iran.
