Iran’s IRGC Claims Destruction of U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet Command Center in Bahrain

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for a significant strike against the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Bahrain. The IRGC announced that the naval forces conducted a powerful operation, dubbed ‘Operation Nasr 2’ under the code ‘Ya Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS)’, which resulted in the destruction of the fleet’s command and control center, designated as the NSI management center, as well as large depots of military parts, equipment, and fuel storage facilities.
The IRGC statement asserted that the U.S. Navy, by deploying what it termed “maritime bandits” in the Indian Ocean and claiming control over the Strait of Hormuz, has blocked ocean routes for vessels and deprived the world of oil and gas from the region. This action, according to the IRGC, necessitated a forceful response to their “malicious actions.”
The statement further warned that if the U.S. hinders oil and gas export routes from the Indian Ocean, which it claims threatens the interests of U.S. economic rivals, then other export routes vital to the interests of the United States and its allies should anticipate being closed. The IRGC concluded with a stark message: “The export of oil and gas from the region is either for everyone or for no one.”
