Israeli Forces Demolish Homes in Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data published by the Mehr News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen, indicates that the Israeli army forces conducted widespread demolition operations in the suburbs of the town of Qonayn, located in the Bint Jbeil region of southern Lebanon.
This development occurs as Israeli forces have repeatedly violated the ceasefire in Lebanon in recent days and weeks, disregarding commitments made by the United States of America within a memorandum of understanding with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Al Mayadeen had previously reported on the Israeli army’s policy of destroying residential areas and villages in southern Lebanon, as well as demolishing the civilian and livelihood infrastructure in these regions. The report emphasized that international humanitarian law extends beyond protecting civilians’ lives during wartime to encompass safeguarding their property, ensuring their survival in their lands, and preserving the social and cultural ties that form their collective identity.
