Yemen’s Foreign Ministry Condemns UK’s Hostile Action Against IRGC

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen issued a statement expressing appreciation for the role of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in defending the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran and foiling the plots of Iran’s enemies and the Islamic Ummah. This statement comes in response to the British government’s action against the IRGC.

The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs vehemently condemned the UK’s step, describing it as a Zionist and worn-out attempt to list the IRGC as a “terrorist force.” The ministry stated that the UK government’s action against the IRGC is a recognized Zionist move, asserting that the IRGC is an effective and efficient Islamic force against Zionist schemes in the region. Yemen’s Foreign Ministry further commented that Western powers desire weak Arab and Islamic nations that serve merely as tools for implementing their malevolent demands and plans in the region.

The statement emphasized, “We commend the role of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in defending the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran and foiling the plots of Iran’s enemies and the Islamic Ummah.”

Concluding its statement, the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated, “We once again announce our support for the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its right to self-defense and to respond to American aggression and siege.”
