Terrorist Attack on Police Station in Pakistan Leaves Four Officers Injured

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency and cited by Dawn News, terrorists attacked a police station in the Bannu district of Pakistan‘s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province today, wounding several security forces.
The media reported that the attack by terrorists led to a severe armed confrontation between them and Pakistan’s security forces, with at least four individuals, including a police official, sustaining injuries.
Muhammad Furqan Bilal, the police chief of the Bannu district, confirmed the incident. Local hospital officials also verified the number of wounded.
Reports indicate that the attackers intended to drive a vehicle laden with explosives into the Miryan police station. This attempt triggered a massive explosion.
Police sources stated that following the explosion, a prolonged and intense exchange of gunfire occurred between the terrorists and the police forces. Security measures in the area have been heightened.
