Iran Military Strikes US Fuel Depots and Communication Systems in Jordan

The Islamic Republic of Iran Army conducted a drone strike against U.S. military fuel storage facilities and communication systems in Jordan, in what it described as the ninth phase of its lightning operations and a response to perceived enemy aggression.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Republic of Iran Army hours ago, in the ninth phase of its ‘Lightning Operation,’ targeted the communication systems and fuel depots of the United States military in Jordan using explosive-equipped drones. This action is stated to be in retaliation for perceived enemy transgressions.

The Iranian Army’s explosive drones, as part of the ninth phase of the ‘Lightning Operation,’ were directed at the fixed radar site, communication systems, and fuel storage facilities of the U.S. military at the Al-Azraq base in Jordan. The military cited retaliatory actions against what it termed the ‘child-killing enemy’ for attacks on areas within Iran and the Bampour garrison in Iranshahr, which reportedly resulted in the martyrdom of seven non-commissioned officers and soldiers from the Army’s ground force.

The Al-Azraq base is identified as a location housing anti-missile defense systems and is considered one of the most significant strategic and command centers for U.S. forces in the West Asia region.

The Iranian Army condemned the enemy’s brutal attacks on the barracks of commissioned and conscript personnel in Iranshahr, characterizing such actions as stemming from the anti-human nature of a malevolent foe. The statement emphasized that these crimes would never be erased from historical memory. It further asserted that the nation’s sons in the Army are devoted to the people and defenders of Iran’s security, and will not waver in their honorable duty to defend the nation and the Islamic homeland, nor in avenging the blood of their cherished martyrs.
