According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, CENTCOM has announced the commencement of a fresh wave of airstrikes against targets in Iran. These operations, as reported by Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, are entering their fifth consecutive night.
CENTCOM claims these strikes are designed to further weaken Iran’s military capacity. The spokesperson further alleged that the strikes have targeted missile and drone launch sites utilized for attacking commercial ships.
Continuing the assertion, the CENTCOM spokesperson added, “We targeted detection systems and radars on Greater Tunb Island and around Bandar Abbas.” The spokesperson also claimed that CENTCOM has made progress in clearing mines that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had reportedly laid in the Strait of Hormuz.
