Russia Launches Massive Missile Strikes on Kyiv, Casualties Reported
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, media reports citing Al-Arabiya indicate that Russia targeted various parts of Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, and its surroundings this morning during extensive missile strikes. These attacks have led to one death and 13 injuries, with fires breaking out in areas around the city.
Reuters also reported hearing powerful explosions in the heart of Ukraine. It has been further reported that Russia employed 20 ballistic missiles in these attacks, with some media outlets suggesting the number could be as high as 40.
Ukrainian forces are reportedly unable to intercept these missile attacks due to a shortage of ammunition stockpiles. Russian media has also reported that Russian forces are advancing in Kharkiv and Donetsk, having taken control of the Volokhivskyi region.
