Putin Prepared for Phone Conversation with Iran’s Supreme Leader

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian Presidential Office, stated that while no immediate arrangements are in place for a telephone discussion between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iran’s Supreme Leader, Putin is certainly prepared for such engagements.

Earlier, Putin had extended congratulations on the selection of Iran’s new Supreme Leader, affirming Russia’s commitment to remaining a reliable partner for Tehran.

The Kremlin had issued a statement quoting President Vladimir Putin, congratulating Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei on his ascension as the third Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. In his message, President Putin expressed his confidence, stating, “I am certain that you will continue your father’s path with honor.”
