According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday voted to pass a bill designed to curb President Donald Trump’s powers to initiate war against Iran without the consent of Congress. This legislative action represents the latest critical response from the House to President Trump’s management of escalating tensions with Iran.
The measure was introduced by Democratic Representative Pramila Jayapal. CNN reported that four Republican representatives joined Democrats in supporting the bill’s passage. The legislation was approved by a vote of 214 in favor to 208 against.
