President Trump Announces Chinese President Xi Jinping to Visit Washington September 24

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump announced on the evening of [Current Date in 2026], that his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, will visit Washington on September 24th. Trump also claimed his relationship with the Chinese President is very good.
He added that during his recent visit to Beijing, he discussed artificial intelligence extensively with his Chinese counterpart and that this topic will be pursued further during Xi Jinping’s visit to Washington. The U.S. President had invited the Chinese President to visit the United States during his trip to China last May.
These developments come as U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Wednesday of last week on the sidelines of the ASEAN member states’ summit to discuss bilateral relations. These meetings and bilateral visits are taking place as Trump recently reiterated accusations of Chinese interference in the U.S. presidential elections, a claim that has drawn a response from Beijing officials.
