Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri Criticizes Continued Israeli Aggression Despite Accord

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri emphasized that the events unfolding in the Zawtar Gharbi region are indicative of the persistent complex situation. Berri added that residents of the area waited for several days to be temporarily allowed back into their villages amidst ongoing Israeli aggressions. He questioned the timeline for a full withdrawal of the Zionists from Lebanese territory and the return of southern residents to their homes, given the continuous breaches of the ceasefire and Israeli incursions. It is noteworthy that the aforementioned agreement has not only failed to halt the Israeli regime’s aggressions against Lebanon but has also reinforced and solidified its occupation of Lebanese soil.
