Iraqi National Security Council Condemns US-Saudi Attacks on Popular Mobilization Forces

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Iraqi National Security Council has condemned the dawn attacks by the United States and Saudi Arabia on Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces. The council stated that the aggression took place while the government was investigating claims regarding the targeting of Saudi Arabian territory.

The National Security Council has decided to develop a comprehensive security plan to confront any violations of Iraq’s sovereignty. The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been tasked with acting according to international law to document this situation and establish Iraq’s rights.

Furthermore, the Iraqi National Security Council emphasized that addressing these aggressions is the exclusive responsibility of the Iraqi government and its constitutional institutions.
