Trump Links Spanish Immigration Crisis to Attacks on Democrats

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has targeted the previous U.S. administration, led by Joe Biden, and the Democratic Party in response to recent developments in Spain and the widespread arrival of migrants. Trump claimed that what is happening in Spain today had previously occurred in the United States during Biden’s presidency.

In a message posted on the social media platform ‘Truth Social,’ Trump asserted that if Democrats return to power, the immigration crisis in America would reoccur on a larger scale. Referring to the midterm congressional elections, he urged American citizens to prevent what he termed the ‘destruction of the country’ by voting for Republicans.

The U.S. President also commented on images of migrants arriving in Spain during a cabinet meeting at Camp David. He alleged that the country is facing a serious crisis, stating, ‘It appears hundreds of thousands of people have attacked a country.’ He reiterated that Biden’s immigration policies were the cause of similar crises.

These remarks come as the Spanish government has described and condemned the large-scale arrival of migrants from Morocco into the territory of Ceuta as a ‘violation of territorial integrity.’ Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has emphasized that Madrid will defend its borders and expressed appreciation for the cooperation of Moroccan authorities in repatriating illegal migrants.

According to media reports, at least 18 people have died during the attempts by migrants to enter Spanish territory. Local reports also indicate the arrival of over 1,500 migrants in Ceuta over the past week, although precise figures for migrant arrivals have not yet been officially confirmed.
