Hamas Declares Israeli Attack Halt as Condition for Disarmament Deal

Hamas representatives have stated that a fundamental prerequisite for any disarmament agreement is the cessation of Israeli military actions. The group insists on the synchronized implementation of all political, humanitarian, security, and disarmament clauses.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, representatives of Hamas informed the Russian news agency Sputnik on Saturday that their primary condition for implementing a disarmament agreement is the termination of attacks by the Israeli regime. The group emphasized to the outlet, “The cessation of military actions and Israeli attacks is the principal condition for entering the implementation phase, including the establishment of an agreed-upon timeline and the definition of mechanisms for executing the agreement.” Hamas further rejected any piecemeal approach to the accord, insisting that all political, humanitarian, security, and disarmament obligations must be implemented concurrently.
