Qatar Consults with Arab Counterparts on Regional De-escalation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Qatar‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that its Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, held phone calls with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Bahrain. The discussions focused on the latest regional developments.

The statement indicated that the primary objective of these conversations among the foreign ministers was to advance efforts aimed at reducing regional tensions and enhancing security.

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs further reported that Al Thani emphasized the imperative for all parties to commit to dialogue, diplomacy, and the implementation of memorandums of understanding.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded by stating that Al Thani reiterated Doha’s support for all endeavors to de-escalate tensions and achieve a comprehensive agreement that fosters peace in the region.
