Hezbollah Warns Lebanese Government Against Direct Talks with Israel

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing Al-Ahed News Website, Hussein Al-Haj Hassan, a representative of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, has called on the Lebanese government to end direct negotiations with the Zionist entity. He stated that the path the government is pursuing will only result in more concessions to the enemy, even as Israeli aggressions against Lebanon, targeting its people, army, and villages, continue unabated.

Al-Haj Hassan emphasized that the persistent Israeli aggressions demonstrate the regime’s determination to continue its aggressive approach and occupation of Lebanese territory. Therefore, he asserted, the government must reconsider its course and adopt a strategy that safeguards Lebanon’s rights and sovereignty.

The Hezbollah representative further explained that the steadfastness and resistance of the Lebanese people, along with their commitment to their rights, form the core principles of confronting the Zionist aggressors. He concluded by calling for the adoption of options that serve national interests and prevent further gratuitous concessions to the enemy.
