This shift is a key factor contributing to the apprehension felt by the Israeli army, particularly in light of the recent security event in Majdal Zoun, a village in southern Lebanon. The incident led to the fatalities of two Israeli soldiers and inflicted serious injuries on four others.

The report from Maariv highlights that the Majdal Zoun incident is indicative of an unfavorable trend for the Israeli regime. Hezbollah appears to be aiming to instigate a guerrilla warfare campaign on the battlefield, and the Israeli army’s response on Wednesday was characterized by slowness and confusion.

Furthermore, the upcoming days are expected to present significant challenges for the Israeli army on the West Bank front as well. Israeli media outlets had previously reported the deaths of two soldiers and injuries to four others during a military operation in southern Lebanon. The spokesperson for the Israeli army confirmed the death of a major, who commanded a company, and another soldier, along with the injuries sustained by four others during operations in southern Lebanon yesterday.

Details of the incident indicate that Israeli army forces, belonging to the 55th Brigade’s combat team, were operating in the vicinity of the village of Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon around noon yesterday. As the forces entered a building in the area, an explosion occurred. It is suspected that the detonation was caused by a roadside bomb that had been planted at the location.
