Gaza Death Toll Surpasses 73,000 as Health Ministry Reports New Casualties

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that the total number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,382, with 174,236 others injured, as efforts to reach victims under rubble continue to be hampered by ongoing attacks and restrictions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Gaza Ministry of Health has reported a significant increase in casualties, stating that 73,382 Palestinians have been killed and 174,236 injured since the escalation of conflict on October 7, 2023. The ministry detailed that in the past 24 hours alone, one Palestinian succumbed to their injuries, and five others were hospitalized.

Since the ceasefire that took effect on October 11 of last year, the ministry’s figures indicate that 1,255 Palestinians have been martyred and 4,125 wounded. Additionally, the bodies of 806 individuals have been recovered from beneath the rubble.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza emphasized that numerous victims remain trapped under the rubble and in roadways. Rescue and civil defense teams have been unable to access these individuals due to persistent restrictions and continuous attacks.
