Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif Holds Talks with Saudi Crown Prince in Mecca

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in Mecca to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional developments. The meeting was attended by Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was welcomed by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in Mecca. The official Pakistan News Agency reported that the meeting took place at Al-Safa Palace in Mecca and was attended by Pakistan’s Army Chief, General Asim Munir.

During the consultation, both sides explored avenues for strengthening and expanding ongoing cooperation, as well as current regional and international developments. Prime Minister Sharif arrived in Saudi Arabia on Thursday for a three-day visit.

Previously, the Mecca Agreement on cooperation between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey was signed. The agreement was signed by the Prime Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey, along with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
