Three Lebanese Soldiers Injured Disarming Unexploded Ordnance in Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Lebanese army has reported injuries sustained by its soldiers. The army announced that three Lebanese soldiers were wounded during the process of neutralizing unexploded ordnance in the town of Zawtar Gharbi, located in southern Lebanon.

A statement from the Lebanese army indicated that one of the injured soldiers suffered moderate wounds. The mayor of Zawtar Gharbi, Abd Al-Ezzedine, informed Al-Jadeed television that approximately 50 families reside in the town. He noted that an Israeli drone flying over the town was so low that it felt touchable. He also reported fear and panic among the town’s residents due to ongoing violations by the Israeli army.

In related developments, a correspondent for Al-Manar network reported that Israeli army armored forces advanced towards the northwestern outskirts of the town of Hadata in southern Lebanon. A Merkava tank fired several rounds, causing a fire in the area.
