Israeli Artillery Shells Southern Syria, Targeting Golan Heights Vicinity

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Syrian sources have reported new escalations by the Israeli regime in southern Syria. Military observers noted that Israeli occupation troops launched heavy artillery fire on eastern Tel al-Ahmar, located in the southern Quneitra province. The Al-Akhbariya channel reported that Israeli forces were behind the bombardment. Further details regarding the incident have not yet been released.
The Israeli regime has conducted extensive attacks within Syria since the former Syrian government’s downfall. Notably, just weeks prior, the regime carried out airstrikes on Damascus, citing claims of supporting Druze populations. Since the collapse of Bashar al-Assad’s government, the Israeli army has repeatedly crossed the demarcation line separating the occupied Golan Heights from Syria, continuing its occupation of areas near the Golan in the Daraa and Quneitra provinces.
