Hamas Welcomes Trump’s Call for Gaza Offensive Halt

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem announced that the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas welcomes statements by U.S. President Donald Trump calling on the Zionist enemy to cease its assaults on the Gaza Strip. Qassem indicated that this position underscores Trump’s adherence to the path of a ceasefire.

The Hamas spokesperson further urged the U.S. President to exert pressure on the occupying regime’s cabinet to compel them to implement agreements reached for operationalizing the second phase of Trump’s peace plan for the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that in light of ongoing disputes regarding the commitments of parties and the mechanisms for implementing the next phase, fulfilling agreed-upon obligations is a fundamental step towards completing the ceasefire process.
