Chinese President Xi Jinping to Meet U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington next month, bypassing a planned visit to New York to address the United Nations General Assembly.
Four individuals familiar with the Chinese president’s travel itinerary indicated that Xi, set to arrive in Washington for a meeting with Trump on September 24, will not be attending the UN General Assembly. The assembly, which commences on September 22 with a week of speeches and meetings between world leaders and U.S. officials, will not include the Chinese president.
The American media outlet Politico reported, citing these sources, that Xi’s visit to the United States will be confined solely to his meeting with President Trump on September 24.
