Turkey Condemns Israeli Strikes on Syrian Infrastructure, Calls for Accountability

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkey has issued a strong condemnation of Israeli strikes against Syria, labeling them as violations of international law and Syrian sovereignty. The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on Tuesday condemning the attacks on the Abu al-Duhur airport in Syria.
The statement asserted that Israel’s relentless attacks on Syrian infrastructure and capabilities infringe upon the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria, with such aggressions escalating daily. Turkey has called upon the international community to guarantee accountability for Israel’s actions, which it deems contrary to international legal principles.
This comes as a Syrian military source previously confirmed to Syrian Alikhbariya that Israeli warplanes were responsible for the strikes. The source reported that Israeli aircraft carried out eight attacks on the Abu al-Duhur military airport runway in the eastern Idlib countryside early Tuesday, August 18th.
