Iraqi Prime Minister Affirms Government Focus on Popular Mobilization Forces

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani has stated that the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) are a priority for the Iraqi government. He indicated that the nation is now in a reconstruction phase after successfully defending its sovereignty.

Al Sudani further elaborated that the government is proceeding with the legislation to formalize the PMF as an integral part of Iraq’s armed forces. This move aims to solidify the organization’s position within the national security structure.

The Prime Minister also underscored that the government’s primary objective is to build the country based on a strong economy and to address fundamental issues at their root.
