Ansarullah: Domestic Military Capability Secures Yemen’s Independence

Ansarullah official Mohammed Al-Farah stated that Yemen’s military independence hinges on indigenous production, not arms imports, highlighting a stark contrast with Saudi Arabia’s reliance on foreign military supplies.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mohammed Al-Farah, a member of the Ansarullah political bureau in Yemen, has asserted that a significant gap exists in military industrial capabilities between Sana’a and Riyadh. He emphasized that the true measure of military strength lies not in the volume of arms purchase agreements but in the capacity for independent national decision-making concerning the production, maintenance, and development of military power.

In posts on the ‘X’ platform, Al-Farah noted that Saudi Arabia remains heavily dependent on importing weapons and military systems from abroad. In contrast, Sana’a is prioritizing the enhancement of its domestic manufacturing and production capabilities.

He elaborated that the indigenous development of military capacities provides Sana’a with greater power to address battlefield needs and upgrade military tools suitable for field conditions, thereby freeing Yemen from dependence on foreign arms contracts or decisions made by weapons suppliers.

Addressing the mobilization of forces affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition, Al-Farah urged Yemenis not to join Riyadh in its military actions. He cautioned that continuing this path serves the objectives of powers interfering in Yemen’s affairs, seeking to keep the country in a state of conflict and attrition.

He stressed that confrontation should be directed towards those whom Yemenis perceive as enemies of their nation, and appealed to those recruited into camps aligned with the Saudi coalition to refrain from targeting fellow Yemenis with their weapons.

Al-Farah accused media outlets aligned with Saudi Arabia of distorting reality for financial gain, adding that those engaged in such activities are not focused on conveying facts or independently verifying information.
